Rejoice in the Lord’s deliverance and provision, and eagerly anticipate the deliverance and provision that is still to come. Practically speaking, I want to challenge us to look to rejoice and be grateful for the “little things”.

Romans 6:1 says, “What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?” Of course not. But when we do sin, we have yet another opportunity to point to the greatness of God, the depths of his love, and the boundlessness of his grace. We need to repent of our sin for the glory of God!

We don’t need to ask ourselves “Why is this going to happen?”. We need to ask “Am I ready to face such a disaster?” We can only face them if we look up to the heavens and ask God not only to forgive us but to guide us.
