Mission / Vision

Mission

Our mission at Seed Of Hope is Scriptural, Memorable, and Directional. We seek to:

LOVE THE LORD

Matthew 22:36-38 –  “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?”  And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the great and first commandment.'”

We strive to love God first in all that we do as followers of Jesus. This requires faith, surrender, obedience, thankfulness, and praise!

LIVE THE LIFE

Acts 2:42 – And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

Life is not meant to be lived alone. That is why God says that we are the body of Christ with many parts, we need each other. Our mission is to live life together, sharing struggles, encouraging and lifting each other up, and enjoying our blessings together as we serve the Lord.

LEAD THE LOST

Matthew 28:19-20 –  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

No matter where we are or what we are doing, our goal is always to bring glory to God by pointing a lost world to salvation through Jesus Christ. We believe in sharing the gospel, making disciples of new believers, and being living testifiers to the goodness of God’s love.

Vision

The mission of our church is to LOVE the Lord, LIVE the life, and LEAD the lost to Jesus Christ. Our vision is the way we accomplish our mission. We believe the Lord’s vision for our church is that it shall be A PLACE TO GROW.

FAITH

From the moment we feel the touch of God upon our hearts, we begin a journey of transformation and growth. Our faith in Him will only grow when we decide to be rooted in His Word, building a foundation that is unshakable, learning to trust Him through the hardships of life, and fully understand what it means that Christ is life. Our vision is to grow our faith as believers by being intentional about discipleship through small groups and by educating our members on the necessity of pursing intimacy with Jesus Christ.

FELLOWSHIP

The original church did not simply meet once or twice a week, they met with each other daily. We desire to grow the fellowship of our church by living life together. This means that we build solid and genuine relationships, depend on each other when times are tough, become sources of encouragement and accountability, and knowing that because we are a part of the family of God we never fight our battles alone. To grow our fellowship we encourage our members to belong to a life group and walk through life together, and to use their gifts to fulfill their part of the body of Christ to bring Him glory.

FAMILY

We believe that the church is a family. Therefore, we love and serve God together as a family, while seeking to find those lost family members and bring them home. We do not want to be a church that expects the world to come to us, we will be the church that leaves the building and reaches out to the world. Our vision is to be a family that grows because we intentionally share our faith with others, while also being a multi-generational church that everyone can call home.
