Offerings

I know tithes and offerings are grouped together a lot, but they’re definitely not the same thing. An offering is something that is freely given above and beyond your tithes.

2 Corinthians 9:7 says, “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

The Bible is very specific about how these funds are to be used. Here at Seed Of Hope we use these funds to help people in our community as well as for church bills. Exactly as God intended.

Giving money is not the only way we can do good, but it’s one way not to be overlooked. Please note that if you give an offering for a specific use then that is exactly how it will be used.
